Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Slipcase is scuffed in places with minor shelf wear to edges and corners.

Hardback books are tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, illustrative gilt perfect. Text block clean and sharp. Feel unread. Fine condition. Slipcase grades very good, in nice condition with only a touch of marking, but with a heavy bump to rear corner. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover.
