Contains 374 printed pages with 174 black and white illustrations, 22 colour plates. Lower page edges uncut, light age spots to the end papers. Near Fine condition book in Very Good condition colour flower illustrated dust wrapper with nicks and tears, one 35 mm closed tear to the back spine edge, not price clipped 25/-. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection, this preserves and prolongs the life of the paper, it is not adhered to the book or to the dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A.

Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Light tanning to spine and edges.
