Light blue cloth w black logo on cover, black decoration and lettering on spine. Moderate shelf wear, scuff to head and tail, small bumping to corners. Binding is sound, but the book is lightly bowed, convex to front cover. Colour illustrated DJ shows wear and soiling commensurate w age and handling; closed tear bottom front corner, chipping to 2cm head and tail. DJ now preserved in archival cover. No date: circa 1940-41, after the Dunkirk evacuation. Eighteen descriptive essays about Britain's Navy, its work and personnel.
