Pictorial brochure promoting the real estate development by a company co-owned by aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, whose interests and enterprises played an important role in the early growth of Florida. Curtiss and his partner James Bright were developers in the Florida cities of Hialeah, Miami Springs and the municipality of Brighton. Sitting on relatively high ground above Lake Okeechobee (thought to be safe from hurricane related flooding), it seemed ideal for a farming hub. Curtiss invested a great deal in additional destinations, including a zoo. Unfortunately, with the bust in the Florida land boom, the onset of the Great Depression, and the death of Curtiss himself, the grand hopes were never realized. No copies in OCLC.
