Very slight browning to top front board edge, otherwise a clean book. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with clean endpapers - no names, writing or marks. Liberally illustrated with photographs. 314 pages with index. Dust jacket designed by George salter is clean, not price clipped, has chipping up to 1" at top spine edge, a few short closed edge tears, nice photos on rear panel. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A beautifully written account of the author's travels in Japan and the culture he experienced there..
