Light foxing, thumb marking and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier staining with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding and paper wrapped hardcover boards. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. Very Good
