First edition hardcover, published by The University of Nebraska Press, part of their series of collections of the work of Robert E. Howard, published under their imprint Bison Books. Robert Howard is most well known for the Conan stories, and other Fantasy and Horror series, he did also write extensively in other genres as well. Sixteen stories are included including ten that feature his 'Steve Costigan' character, three poems are also included, and an extensive Introduction by editor Chris Gruber. This copy would appear to be an unread, unused copy. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. It has been protected with a clear, removable, library quality cover. There are no former ownership marks, no writing on the text. Beautiful blue cloth covered boards with sturdy sewn binding. The edges of the text are clean and show no wear.
