About This Item

E Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A.: Putnam Pub Group, 1980. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The author's first book to feature rogue agent Jason Bourne. No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp though creased from reading. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Book itself has a minor water stain (approx. 1/2") along the bottom edge of each front endpaper. Rear pastedown endpaper has a 1" X 1" water stain along the bottom right edge which is covered by the dust jacket flap. There are also a couple of small spots on the rear endpapers. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but shows moderate shelf wear, fading/browning, and what appears to be some mild delamination along the edges. The moisture has affected the jacket in the same places as the boards, but the affected areas are on the inside and can only be seen when you remove the jacket. Overall, a crisp, clean copy of this rare classic! This highly collectible, very good+/very good, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
