Bought of Pitchford & Nokes, Whip-Makers, No.5, Mary-Le-Bone Lane, Oxford Street by [Receipt for a Whip] - 1830

London: No Publisher, 1830. Part printed, part manuscript receipt for a whip, approximately 190mm x 120mm in size. Lightly creased from old folds, unevenly cropped to foot, minor browning and off-setting, otherwise fairly bright and clean. Dated June 15th, 1831, this is a receipt for a ?Yew dark whip, priced at 12s 6p, and signed by Mr Pitchford as paid to foot. They appear in 'Johnston's London Commercial Guide' of 1818, so were well established by this point. First Edition. Unbound. Good. 32mo (Oblong). Receipt / Invoice.
