The top on front edges of the text block show signs of foxing, and slight darkening commensurate with the book's age. The spine section of the binding is slightly faded. Otherwise in very good condition. "After more than 150 years, the Journal as Boswell wrote it is published. Throughout the years of preparation the English and American publishers have worked closely together and it had the invaluable help of both Col Isham and Prof Pottle.
