Centering on Blair Street, a vibrant 3-block stretch in downtown Silverton, where buildings date to the late 1800s and prostitution & gambling thrived. Author, geologist Allan G. Bird (1929 - 2020) was general manager to Silverton's Sunnyside Mine, largest gold mine in the state for 6 years, 214 pgs in 29 chapters of colorful times. Strong copy despite flaws.
