Murray recalls the older way of life centering the memories and stories in and around Elliston, an outport just a bit to the east of Bonavista and below the cape itself. Profusely illustrated with many drawings, maps and photographs, period and more recent. The term "collar" refers to the idea of work, specifically fishing, and denotes the time between May and October and includes the prep time and the "puttin' away" time. Quite a lovely piece of work this is and in so many ways. Signed by the author on the title page.; Signed by Author .
