About This Item
Boston: Geo. H. Ellis, 1887. The author of 'Bluffton', Rev. Minot J. Savage, was formerly a Congregrational (Trinitarian) clergyman. (Later joining the Unitarian denomination). The incidents of this story are chiefly facts. The people who live in Bluffton will doubtless recognize some touches of local scenery. (The characters are fictitious). The author also wrote 'Christianity the Science of Manhood', 'The religion of Evolution', 'Life Questons', 'The Morals of Evolution', etc. Wear to board extremities. Marbled endpapers. Occasional pale spotting on leaves. Overall, the book remains sound and respectable.. Second Edition Stated. Hard Cover. Very Good.
