First edition, first impression (Herbert Jenkins, 1935). Rare in the dust jacket.

Original publisher's turquoise cloth with black lettering to spine and upper board. Some browning to spine with a little marginal browning to boards; corners a little rubbed; toning to edges with some spotting to fore-edge; free from inscriptions. The first issue jacket is correctly priced at 7'6 with some loss to spine ends and corners with tape repair to verso; a few tears to edges and some fraying to folds.
