Beautifully produced in quarto hardcover format, gilt illustration to front cover, gilt lettering to spine. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, neat and tidy paste-downs; not ex-library, with neither highlighting nor underlining. Simple, plain printed dust wrappers, chipped and with closed tears thereto, protected by a plastic sleeve, and dust wrappers are not price-clipped. Previous owner's ink-stamp to first free endpaper. Gorgeous etchings by Marc Chagall grace the first page of each new chapter of poetry, opposite. [2], 63, [1] pages. Series of 10 readings (including Prologue and Epilogue) that are "based on a series of messages inspired by The National Planning Committee of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America."Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
