Clean unmarked copy, solid binding, endpapers foxed, edges of boards rubbed, spotting on upper part of spine, gilt on titles worn but still legible. Illustrated with 12 color plates of the birds, numerous drawings, 12 pages of black and white photographs of the Sudan landscape, two maps, one of which is a folding map tipped in at rear, 444 pages.
