This is an ex-lending library copy with residual tape marks on boards, remains of library pocket on front free endpaper, a "Discard" rubber stamp on front free endpaper and on verso of final text page, and stamp of library at bottom of title page. Yet for all these librarry markings the text pages are clean and tightly bound. The dust jacket is price-clipped, the pea-green background colour of the spine panel has faded to grey and there is 1" tear on rear flap; it also appears that library laminate has been applied to the dust jacket, fairly neatly so.
