About This Item
Washington: U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, Office of Education, Bureau of Research, 1968. Two volumes in matched bindings, 1209 pages divided equally, text reproduced smallpoint from typescript and printed rectos only. Hardbound in thick plain untilitarian cardstock boards and spine-titled maroon cloth backstrips. An enormous pair, very heavy. Titlepages and text edges show a little foxing, most pronounced upon the bottom edge of v.2, an otherwise clean sound unmarked set, complete as issued. This final report on a HEW research contract primarily concerns Puerto Ricans in New York. NB, one paper discusses Yiddish as the second language.
