Colour frontispiece. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild crinkling, occasional foxing and mild tanning. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges.

Llight coloured foxing to the turnover flaps of the dustjacket. Internally clean. Biggles and his friends in an adventure that takes them into danger in Soviet Russia.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.

London: The Thames Publishing Co., (no date). . "Regents Classics" edition. Reprint. Red cloth, no dustwrapper. Content: top 1/3 section of front endpaper neatly cut out. Pages very good & clean, minimal spotting. Boards: spine pressed into a long crease, otherwise very good & bright.

England: Red Fox, 2004. Book. Fair. Mass Market Paperback. Round ex library copy with markings and considerable wear/spine creasing. The Redfox editions have an outstanding feature, not found in other post World War 2 editions, in that they use text almost unaltered from the original Printing by John Hamilton. Later printings, by Thames and Dean & Son (1952-1985), had text which is considerably altered from the original including changing the bad guys to the Russians and removing the technical details of the German aircraft. If you haven't got the thousands to spend on a John Hamilton edition, and you want as close to the original text as possible, then this is the edition for you.
