Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and rubbing and moderate staining all over. Spine sunned and tanned. Boards are slightly bowed.

The boards are very tight, straight and clean. Tanned end papers and cut edges. The text block is tight and straight and very tanned around page edges. No dedications etc. In very good minus pictorial dust jacket with colour image of two planes with open cock pits and red titles. The jacket is unmarked; worn top edge. Not clipped.
