BIG TABLE by Big Table - 1959 - from William Reese Company - Literature ABAA-ILAB and

by Big Table

Condition: See description

Chicago, 1959. Whole number two (of five published). Printed wrappers. Text stock a bit tanned, as usual for this issue, tiny 'duplicate' stamp in upper corner of front wrapper, otherwise about fine. Edited by Irving Rosenthal and Paul Carroll. The first issue appeared as a consequence of the suppression of the winter 1959 issue of CHICAGO REVIEW, and this successor includes work by Ginsberg, Bowles, Breton, Dahlberg, Burroughs, Ferlinghetti, et al. A ruling set aside the impounding of 400 copies of the first issue by the USPS (a ruling by Judge Julius Hoffman, no less!). CLAY & PHILLIPS, p.265.
