An amusing work on bibliomania, formed by a collection of fictional dialogues with biblophiles. This work was very popular when it was published, and went through many editions. Illustrated with a frontispiece, one plate, and many in-text illustrations. Written by Thomas Frognall Dibdin, an English bibliographer. Condition: In the original publisher's quarter crushed morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with fading to the front board. Rubbing to the boards and spine. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in some loss to the tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a couple of light spots. Overall Condition: Very Good.
