About This Item
New York: Sully and Kleinteich, 1913. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Brown cloth with black spine lettering and gilt front board lettering with black pictorial stamping. 205pp, (10pp ads). Frontispiece, 3 full-page plates (as called for). Very good. Slightly edgeworn and lightly soiled, with a few stray inoffensive spots; ownership signature on front pastedown. A tight and decent first edition of the fourth volume in the 8-volume "Bert Wilson" sports and adventure series. Front inner flyleaf list and rear ad both cite up to this title. Rather uncommon -- and not the 1914 second printing often mistakenly referred to as a first edition!
