About This Item

Berkeley: Berkeley Barb, 1969. Newspaper. 8p., folded tabloid underground newspaper, illustrated with b&w photos, local ads, emasculated issue of the radical rag on newsprint. As of this issue Max Scherr was in conflict with Red Mountain Tribe who were picketing the paper and printing their own version with non-union labor. This brief issue contains the cover statement from Scherr, a supportive letter from ex-employee Greaves and as many ads as could be printed.
