Illustrator: Photographic and Illustrations. 650 g.; XII, 13-304 pages, last page blank, notes and sources and bibliography. Blue coloured endpapers. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs from throughout Colette's life, reproductions of posters, cartoons and reproductions of manuscript pages. Purple coloured cloth covered boards with self embossed illustration of a flower on the front panel and silver titles to the backstrip. Fading to the extreme book edges and backstrip. Browning to the text block edges and light age toning of the internal text. Black-and-white illustration of Colette on the front dustwrapper panel with pink and purple background. Black-and-white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Creasing and some chipping to the dustwrapper edges. Fading to the backstrip and there has been handling marks and browning to the rear dustwrapper panel. A photographic essay, with commentary, on the French writer Colette's life.
