About This Item
London: Stanley Nott, LTD, 1934. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 12mo., (10)93(1)pp. Beautiful First Edition bound in original green cloth with title in gilt on spine. Maps and illustrations. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Pages with just a hint of edge-toning. Very attractive, and quite scarce, unclipped dust-jacket (3s. 6d. net), has toning to spine and edges. Light soiling. Minor chipping to head of spine and one tiny chip to the heel. Still bright with no creases or tears. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon title in any condition and in a rarely seen jacket. (Gabler, Wine Into Words, #G17810).
