Stilla solid copy in jacket of this look at "the military genius whose tactics became blueprints for 20th century warfare.

Good/good. light wear to tips, corners and edges of the book, some sunning to the top edge of the covers, jacket is rubbed, chipped at corners and spine and along top edge of the rear panel, clean and unmarked. First printing, full number line. The military exploits of a renowned and controversial military leaders. Forrest was one of the ablest Confederate cavalry commanders. His life after the war became one of contradictions, first as a founding member of the Ku Klux Klan which was disbanded at his direction. Late in life he spoke out for racial harmony and equality earning the criticism of his former fellow soldiers. Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.

Condition of the book is Very Good Minus. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked. The book's exterior shows light wear. There is a gift inscription on the front pastedown endpaper.

Some wear to the spine ends, still a lightly used near fine copy with clean text and tight binding in a very good price clipped dust jacket (some nicks to the spine ends and corners, a few short closed tears to the edges and to the front flap fold). Protected in a mylar cover.

Originally publsihed 1931, this copy of the book is from a 1984 second edition. Clean and tight, with no soiling or marking. contains illustrations and maps.biographical notes and an index. The dust jacket is clean with no tears or nicks, very light tanning at the spine. Price is clipped, jacket is covered with a mylar sleeve. 402 pages, with bibliographical information and index.

Philadelphia: Dorrance. VG/VG- (see notes). 1934. reprint. hardcover. 12mo . 215pp . P O name label down end paper. Somewhat aged DJ has couple of tears to 1/2" and some edgewear. Originally published when pappa was running for Governor of Minnesota in 1918. Isolationist to say the least. Father Coughlin seems to have been a big fan. Quite scarce, even as a reprint. .
