About This Item
New York: Michael Keane, Inc., 1937. First Edition . Sheet Music. Fair. 9.25" x 12.25. An enchanting art-song by this mid-20th-century New-York-based composer and pianist, setting words of the English Poet Laureate John Masefield (1878-1967). This low-voice score's range is Bb to D(with optional F). 8 pages. CONDITION: This score definitely shows it age, with chipped/stained spine upper corner and chipped outer-edge lower corner. Given its overall fragility, I recommend making photocopies for rehearsal and performance. This impossibly rare music is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
