The dust jacket flaps and endpapers with old cello tape, residue from removed bookplate, else very good, in a worn and price-clipped good dust jacket (in removable protective archival jacket).

Better than most copies we have seen. (in removable protective archival jacket).

Peter Vierling was himself a poet who won the 1955 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, thus rendering this an important association copy as well as a rare signed first edition of Wilbur's first book. Book and dust jacket in solid overall condition, unmarked otherwise; jacket is unclipped and in protective mylar.
