Very Good. 8vo, dark brown cloth gilt, very good, lightest wear to bottom of title page, some discoloration to endpapers, edges of textblock appear to have been neatly gilded by a long-ago owner, contents very good, binding nice and bright. 387 pp., frontispiece.

Book good with mild wear to spine ends and corners, rubbing to boards and spine, binding tender with front inner hinge cracked, previous owner's markings to front endpapers, otherwise text clean and unmarked but toned throughout, with gilt edges to text block. No DJ.
