New York: Thomas Yoseloff, 1956.. Reprint. Four very good octavo hardcover in blue bindings without dust jackets and in a good slipcase. All volumes have some wear and rubbing to the edges of the boards with bumping to the head and heel of the spines. Light scuffing and scratching to the covers. Volume I has a very slight tear on head of the spine. Smoky smell to the books. All volumes have stamp on the front pastedown endpapers and a sticker/plate indicating that this book was donated to a library. Slipcase has heavy wear and rubbing along the edges with some bumping to the corners and some scuffing and foxing to the sides. Good reprinting of this massive collection of material on the American Civil War.
