Inscribed by the author to the printer of the book, Nat Roth, of the Falcon Press in Chicago: "Inscribed for Nat Roth, in a book that is, I believe, a tribute to his fine craftsmanship, for it is one in which others as well as myself take pleasure. Virginia Horton Rogers Chicago 1941." Roth was also the printer for the publications of the Argus Book Shop during its Chicago tenure, and this poem is dedicated by the author to Ben Abramson, its proprietor.
