London: Chapman & Hall, 1945. Hardcover. 264p., author's foreword, very good first edition stated in black cloth boards, gilt, and lightly-worn unclipped dj. The author's second novel, set in the time of Queen Anne and featuring Jonathan Swift as a central character. Myers, a figure in the Powys Circle, was a well-respected upcoming author but published only three novels due to her early death at 34 from tuberculosis.
