About This Item

FIRST EDITION thus in dust jacket. The book has a short non-authorial inscription on the FFEP (dated 1965) and is a bit dusty on the top of the book block - otherwise fine. The un-clipped dust jacket is fine. The first book to feature Upfield's signature character Napoleon Bonaparte. Originally published in 1929; this 1965 edition is the first time the title has been reprinted. Uncommon.
