A presentation copy: inscribed to "Dear Jane [Cooper], here is poem you read 1 1/2 year ago and partly changed (you are responsible for a few words in Part VI I think)--Good to be in NY again. 18-10-1975. Tomas" With four small emendations to the text. A near fine copy of the Nobel Laureate's first long poem originally published in Sweden in 1974. A scarce signature and a generous inscription to another poet. (In removable myalr protective covers.). Jane Cooper was on the faculty of Sarah Lawrence for many years, a distinguished and award-wining poet she died in 2007.
