London: Chatto & Windus, 1898., 1898.. Very good. - Octavo, three quarter maroon leather and marbled boards titled in gilt between gilt-ruled raised bands & decorations in gilt on the spine. The top edge is gilt; marbled endpapers. The spine is darkened with its tail chipped. The joints are rubbed, [vi], [1] leaf & 137 pages. Very good.

Third edition.

From the library of sportsman and medieval arms and armor collector Edward Hubbard Litchfield who owned the 50,000 acre country estate Litchfield Park in the Adirondacks near Tupper Lake. Litchfield's book label is mounted on the front pastedown.
