The story of a cat and a street, told in verse and illustrated with wonderful full page pen drawings opposite each page of text. Bader says (p. 26) "Like Little Machinery, the Ballad of Tangle Street is singular; and though late in date, as a maverick it is part of the irregular twenties." Scarce and a beautiful copy.
