About This Item

Paris, France: XXe Siecle; G.D. San Lazzaro, 1972. First Edition. Softcover. As New. Graham Sutherland. Scarce in the trade, an original lithograph pulled from the pages of the French modernist art journal XXe Siecle, No. 41, for Graham Sutherland, printed in 1972. A Wikipedia entry devoted to him notes that Graham Vivian Sutherland (24 August 1903 – 17 February 1980) "was an English artist who is notable for his work in glass, fabrics, prints and portraits. His work was much inspired by landscape and religion, and he designed the tapestry for the re-built Coventry Cathedral." One of a Limited Edition of unnumbered, unsigned lithographs, but pulled by Mourlot of Paris. Collectible in this form. Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
