Faroughy dated August, 1950 at New York. Book was written, " to provide the reader with the minimum of facts essential to an understanding of the problems of this part of the world." (introduction) Part I General Description, Part I I History. 117 pp. plus: Selected Bibliography, Appendix - 5 historical documents 1880 - 1949, Index. Plates: Frontis, The Flag of Bahrein, Stamps of Bahrein, Palace of the Sheik of Bahrein, Map of Bahrein Island. Book has gilt text on sunned, worn spine and front panel, age toned ep's, some moisture markings on both front and rear panels. Book is tight and square.
