[6], vii-xi, [3], 300, [4] pp. Green cloth with black lettering and a decoration on the front board; black lettering on the spine. Price of $5.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated with a frontispiece and fifteen black and white plates: photographs of Palmyra, Mosul, Baghdad, Babylon, Syracuse, and other sights of Iraq and Syria. The author's travel narrative of his journey around Iraq and Syria. Offsetting to the preliminaries and a small white spot of discoloration on the rear board; jacket shows traces of edge wear and a small discoloration to the rear flap.
