Philadelphia: F. Bell, 1854. First U.S. edition, issued in two volumes. Bound in blue cloth blindstamped on covers and gilt stamped on spines. Corners and spine ends beginning to fray, volume one shows damp staining to endpapers, volume two with extensive pencil notes to back endpapers, altogether in good or better condition.
