Approximately 20 kg, 15 volumes, all around 600 pages, the 1st 12 bound in red cloth, with beige dustwrapper with Burgundy text, various degrees of fading of the spine and margins of the panels, some of the volumes have very minor traces of insect damage to the dust jacket, but essentially very good condition or better. The last 2 volumes in the set have a colour illustrated dust jacket on a blue background. Slight change in the paper used also. (Slightly thinner). Most editions are 1st printings. "If the dictionary is intended primarily as a work of reference, short and relevant bibliographies are appended to each entry assegai for further research. With its cavalcade of human activity, the Dictionary provides a fresh and very picture of Australia's formative years." The 1st volume was published in 1966 Postage outside of Australia will be very expensive (currently over one third of the price of the set of books!) The 15 volumes are being sold at a set.
