Illustrated boards with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. This book was first published in 1911 and this ninth edition, under the revision and rewriting of P. Crosbie Morrison. A Field guide to Australian birds, giving habitats, ranges and identification hints. A little rubbing of the book edges with some sunning to the top book edge. A very noticeable cock of the spine. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning and slight foxing to the end pages with original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Chipping to the top right hand corner of the front panel and major chipping, tears and creasing to the lower dustwrapper edge. Rubbing of the panels with faint sunning of the back strip.
