Black and white illustrations: "drawings by Paul Woodroffe, engraved on the Wood by Clemence Housman". Binding getting loose in a few places in the text, with webbing peeking at page group divisions. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped. Covers have some shallow dents. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Partially erased pencil notation on front endpaper, in one corner. A few very small stray ink pen marks on title page. Pages clean and unmarked. 106 pages. Dust jacket has light surface and edge wear and toning at the edges, with small pieces (about one-inch long and on-half inch wide) missing at the corners and spine ends.
