About This Item

New York: Far East Reporter / Maud Russell Publisher, 1958. A 10-page booklet from the Far East Reporter series, which was edited and published by the American activist Maud Russell, who spent a quarter of a century in China before the Communist revolution of 1949 and spent the rest of her life advocating for the revolutionary regime. Minor wear across the top. Cover blurb notes that this address was called "one of the major speeches" at the Afro-Asian Peoples Solidarity Congress by the NY Herald Tribune. At the time, Chu Tunan chaired the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
