Harry N. Abrams In Collaboration With The American Museum Of Natural History, New York, 1981. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Photographic. acknowledgements, foreword by author, bibliography, credits and index. Map illustrated endpapers, showing Asia with the various countries delineated. The text is illustrated with copious colour photography, with photographs of the various Asian countries, and the artefacts have all been photographed from the Hall of Asian Peoples in the American Museum of Natural History in New York; there are sepia toned contemporary photographs throughout as well. Navy blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with French flaps, and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. A combination book of the various Asian countries, there history, culture, and, particularly their arts and artworks. Minor, and I do mean minor, rubbing to the book corners and back strip edges. Previous owner's Chop to the lower right hand corner of the half title page. The dustwrapper shows very minor rubbing of its edges and panels. Size: Square Quarto. [15], 16 - 256 pages,.
