New York: Macmillan, 1965. Bound in the publishers original chocolate brown cloth boards with contrasting caramel title lettering to spine. This is the First American Edition. The 281 pages remain in crisp, fresh condition with no inscriptions and are squarely bound. Binding is fine with no blemishes or marks. Double matching endpapers portaying maps of India and the region to front and rear of book. Top edge of pages are dyed an attractive ginger colour. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Dustwrapper is in fine condition with excellent colour tone. Protected in a removable, archival sleeve to preserve its condition. A lovely copy throughout.
