Cambridge, W. Heffer and sons, 1946 third edition. Orange stamped cloth. Oblong book. long 12mo. 37pp. Collected from Mrs W. J. Apted, whose book held a collection of dances as they were performed "at Court, Bath and all Publick Assemblys". The dances are dated from 1774 to 1779. The editors have selected those worth preserving. All dances have been tested by experienced dancers. Dances inclue Longways, Triple Minor progressives, and duple-minor sets. All dances appeard during the lifetime of Jane Austen. .
