Rubbed, small amount of loss to foot of front and rear covers. Internally lightly browned, occasional light soiling, mainly to fore-edge margin, folding plates often reinforced to folds at rear, plate xii silked. Engraved frontispiece and twenty-nine plates (thirteen folding) as called for, title in red and black, with list of subscribers, lacks the 'directions to the binder' slip.
