Running from 1924-1931, this humorous British charitable organization was founded by Bert Temple, ex-soldier and silk merchant, initially to raise £100 for the children's charities of the surgeon Sir Alfred Fripp. As per inside the front cover, membership in this spoof order cost 5 shillings, and entitled the members to "Blow Froth off your own beer, other members' beer, and occasionally off non-members' beer provided they are not looking or are of a peaceful disposition".
